If you’re on the hunt for a truly great bagel, check out Wootown Bagels. Hand-rolled, boiled, and baked fresh daily, these bagels are malty, crunchy, and perfectly chewy. The way real bagels are meant to be!
What started as a homegrown project in 2015 has grown into a local favorite, thanks to a whole lot of passion and support from the Wooster foodie community. While they work toward opening a storefront, you can still get your hands on these bagels by ordering online for pickup or grabbing a bag at Local Roots Market.

If you're strolling through downtown Wooster and craving a cozy cup of coffee, we always recommend stopping by Sure House. They're just a short walk from The Leaf.
Every bag of beans is roasted right here in Wooster, and their attention to detail shines through in every sip. At The Leaf, we admire their mission to support both local makers and global producers, all while serving some of the best coffee in the area!
It's one of the first stops we recommend to out-of-town guests.
JAFB Wooster Brewery

JAFB Wooster Brewery is located just down the street from The Leaf. This independently owned brewery is known for its ever-changing tap list, seasonal brews, and creative take on American, Belgian, German, and British styles. Every beer is brewed on-site, and with 16 taps rotating regularly, there’s always something new to try.
Not a beer drinker? No problem! JAFB also offers wine, hard cider, seltzers, and soft drinks. Since there’s no kitchen, you’re welcome to bring your own food or grab something from a nearby restaurant. On weekends, be sure to check out the food trucks parked next to the taproom.
When the weather’s nice, their patio is a great spot to kick back and relax.
