We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to fill two key positions: a Line Cook and a Restaurant Host/Hostess.

Line Cook

A line cook's job description includes many responsibilities, such as preparing food, maintaining cleanliness, and communicating with other kitchen staff:

  • Food preparation | Line cooks prepare food to order by cutting, mixing, chopping, making sauces, grilling, frying, sauteing, and broiling. They also use specialized kitchen tools and follow recipes and plating instructions to ensure dishes look and taste great. 



  • Cleanliness |
Line cooks maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, and creating and following cleaning checklists. They also ensure food and other items are stored properly and comply with state and local food safety and sanitation regulations. 



  • Communication | Line cooks need to be effective communicators who can work as a teammate with other kitchen staff to ensure orders are executed in a timely and coordinated manner. 



  • Other responsibilities | 
Line cooks may also set up cook stations and stock them with prep supplies, manage inventory, and perform other kitchen duties as assigned



Hostess/Host

A restaurant hostess, or host, is the first person guests meet and is responsible for their dining experience. They are the face of the restaurant and are expected to provide excellent customer service. Some of their responsibilities include:

  • Greeting guests | Welcoming guests with a smile and making them feel comfortable

  • Reservations | Managing the reservation book and assigning guests to the waiting list

  • Seating | Escorting guests to their tables or the waiting area

  • Customer service | Answering phone calls and customer inquiries and handling complaints professionally

  • Menu and drink information | Providing menus and drinks to guests once they are seated

  • Cleanliness | Maintaining clean and organized tables, chairs, and dining sets

  • Time management | Prioritizing tasks to greet guests, take drink orders, and deliver checks
